To discuss future builds, build planning for the future, time travel, etc. Our meeting next week was well attended.

I did the pro-modeler kit. It was one of the first kits I did after a 4-5 year break from modeling
As I recall I really enjoyed the build

Me too, I’ve got the original Pro Modeler SB2C-4 and Accurate Miniatures SB2C-1C in my stash and have yet to build…

The last SB2C I built was in 65, the Monogram kit. I still have some scraps from it. I too have the Pro Modeler kit, and also the 1/72 Academy kit which is a very nice kit. Hasegawa also released the ProModeler kit and somehow I ended up with one of them. Just for nostalgia I have one of the old Monogram kits as well. It was in truth a dreadful airplane, regardless of it's wartime record.

I need to get one as it's one of the few US Navy planes I don't have in the stash.

Possibly why crews called it, "SOB Second Class."

My Pro Modeler kit arrived today.
The wife is going to have a cow when she learns it was $60.
I did tell her it was out of production though and prices are going up. I saved us money buying it now.

I'm sure the OG kit will be better than and "new" kit...

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Yeah, aside from better decals in a new boxing, the older molds will be more crisp.
