After 41 years...

Post by Stikpusher »

Finally somebody is making this subject since it first appeared on screen so dramatically in 1977...

Finally! Any idea on scale?
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

1/1000 - about 5 inches long (12,7 cm?). You can cut out the cockpit window...

Bruce beat me to it.., they are also releasing it in a combo pack set with a 1/350 Millenium Falcon, according to Scalemates.

Well now, 1/1000 to 1/350 is not quite an equal starting point... larger scale means more room for detail...
in any case, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Hobby Lobby gets either the single kit, or the twin pack kit. I was there yesterday and they had the Death Star 2/Star Destroyer combo kit in stock...

I agree, Carlos—I wasn’t knocking Bandai, believe me, but there are non-Bandai Blockade Runner kits out there in the Unlicensed Universe that are detailed beautifully. That is one of them. Randy Cooper makes the other. Also, I don’t know if Randy still makes a Galileo Shuttle, but I would jump on that kit. I don’t see a decent original series shuttle appearing any time soon; I have the resin to rework the AMT kit, but that one needs a lot of help.
