It looks like scalehobbyist website has finally got Mission Models paints available for purchase right now. Also another new product available there is Tamiya's Mark Fit (Strong) decal setting solution. I believe Monty used this stuff in one of his build threads.

Lately lots of very positive "fuzz" about Mission Models paints in many different forums around the net..
Anyone here who has first hand experience of them ?

I used Mission Models paints on my F 35A and F 22 with excellent results. I brush paint and it covers well and leaves no brush strokes. If you use the polyurethane additive it leaves an eggshell finish the accepts decals without further surface prep. All in all some very nice paint.

Re: New products in scalehobbyist.com
I’ve used Mission Models paints as well. One of the local shops stocks them. My recent T-55 build was painted with one of their Russian Armor colors. I like the stuff myself. And they are superior to the Model Master line of acrylics in my experience. But now that that same shop is stocking AK’s Real Color lines, which is even more extensive, they have some serious competition on scene. Between the two lines, I sure can finally see saying bye bye to Model Master enamels. Not Humbrol’s mind you, but...

Re: New products in scalehobbyist.com
Has anybody tried the Tamiya Mark Fit Strong decal setting solution? I notice it states that it might have a detrimental effect on painted surfaces, especially acrylics. https://www.scalehobbyist.com/catagorie ... a&e=0&pr=1

Re: New products in scalehobbyist.com
That was good info! I bought last weekend a bottle of the "regular" Mark Fit, but have not tried it yet all.
I have only made a "sniff" test and it smells more as Tamiyas thinner than what I would have expected it to smell (in other words more like vinegar.)

Re: New products in scalehobbyist.com
Oh man, I've been eyeing Trumpeter 1/48 scale de Havilland DH.110 Sea Vixen Faw.2 on scalehobbyist website. The details are fantastic compared to the Airfix brand.

Sorry Thomas. I can't seem to figure out how to post the video without using the video link. I see the youtube tool above though.
