That is very inspiring! great stuff those Kiwis are pulling off to commemorate their history! Our AMPS Chapter was asked to help in a similar manner for a local Vietnam War museum, but the opening of that museum seems to be on hold for funding reasons. I do hope that they get that solved and get it moving forward to have something similar.

There was actually a national call for tabletop gamers and model makers to help paint the figurines for this. I didnt feel my skills were up to scratch so i didnt voluteer.
