AMG early Bf 109 models

Does anyone have one of these in their stash?

Really contemplating on hitting the buy button on it since I love these early Messers, just curious if someone actually has one?

Wish I would have!

I was in direct contact with AMG In July 2017 when I saw for the first time the kit. I asked them where I could buy a kit. They answered I could buy a kit directly from them. But when asking more practical questions, they never answered. Nowadays I guess it is easier to buy AMG kits the regular way.

But tempting indeed!

Buy it just for the coolness of the subject. I'd do for sure. But be aware that AMG makes short-run kits that require a model builder with some experience under his belt. Not at all bad or horrible kits, but also nothing for the faint hearted.

There are also the Hobbycraft 1/48 early 109s out there as well. They make the B, C, and D. Not bad kits, and with a little extra effort they can look pretty sweet. Just be sure to get some new decals.

This kit is currently marketed under the Dora Wings name. It might be easier to find.

“The kit being reviewed today is essentially the same as the AMG Bf 109 A kit with some small improvements and rebranded under the Dora Wings label”

Just noticed they forgot the “c” but the misprint should make it worth a lot!!!
