Eduard Kits and plastic color

According to Scalemates, the original Eduard 109E kit dates back to 2012, so it’s fairly recent in the grand scheme of models.

It’s going to be awhile for me before I actually start since I will need to get an airbrush/compressor and then start getting the tools too. Need to stock up on Tamiya or another high quality paint, couple tubes of oil for color effects, weathering wash, future floor wax.... Just going to get the stuff here and there and then start.

Until then will keep on reading and watching the builds until I can truly start.

You can do nice builds with rattle cans, you don’t have to wait until you have airbrush.

Quickboost does some nice and inexpensive resin for a Bf 109E:


Item # QB 48 172 Spitfire Mk. IX control sticks
These are sticks from a Spitfire, but possible could fit your Swiss 109.

Then there are correct radiators:
