Like bombs, they would have standard shackle points. The variation would be in pylons and/or sway braces. And the plumbing lines would vary by aircraft type, but the points would be the same on the tank.
Mass production demanded this sort of standardization.

Who built the mountings? Brewster? You could scratch build the tank in Sculpy or Milliput... build sway braces from brass tube... carve the mounting as well... that is, if it is just for one aircraft. Here is some more info courtesy of Eduard—

That's a cool shot - Thanks Carlos! (and now I feel an ass. that shot's in a book I have, I just hadn't twigged it was a fuel tank :headslap: )
