Duke, you don't happen to have a picture of that "what-if" Tirpitz ? Not that I would perhaps build such a What-if, but I am really curious to see yours. If you still have it ?

I made her very heavily armed since the "what-if" intent for West Germany was to use the Tirpitz in the restricted waters on the north shore of Germany and the Baltic sea. Her main purpose would be to 1) supply fire support to German forces attempting to repel a Soviet thrust into northern Germany and 2) deny passage to Soviet submarines trying to break out to the North Sea from the Baltic. Of course, she would be heavily escorted as well by a number of anti-aircraft and anti-submarine ships to assist in this effort.
I may have to repair some of this ship, but I should and get some more detail pics of this model. It is a very cool concept and when I did it way back, I got a high compliment from a career Navy man who called it very plausible.
