The best online deal on the Tamiya ‘cat is around $75. They actually list MSRP close to $100 each. Won’t be happening for me anytime soon at those prices.

Good man!

I think the biggest issue is the upper to lower fuselage fit. Similar to on their F/A-18 kits.

That's often the way with jet kits isn't it.

um... what Tomcat kit are we actually talking about? Is it the Revell 1/48? :bag:

Yes, the Revell 1/48 kit of Monogram origin from 1981. There is also a late 1970s Revell kit that is of completely separate design. But that one has not been revamped or reissued in years. The Monogram molds have been redone into a basic D, and then again into a B and D with air to ground load outs and mods.

Ah I thought so - good to know I was looking at the right kit on ebay. :headslap: How does it compare to their F-105?
