GREEN.

Shortly following 'Sleepy Time Gal' comes 'The Enchantress,' and with this new Airfix 1/48 tooled craft comes a whole new set of questions (luckily I found decals by Kits World designed just for the subject after choosing the subject). Where do I find a match to the green? Does anyone make a match? Burlington Northern Green and Snot Green were options (RR color and Warhammer color, respectively) on a similar thread lo, seven years gone past on Brit Modeler, so perhaps there are new colors, formulas, ideas from within SPA Modelers masters?

Thank you so much in advance for any advice. Cheers! TGIF! Happy Weekend!

Terrible sorry Bruce, not really any advice, but a green tailed Mustang!

Does it look good or good?
Cannot recall I would ever have seen that color before in the tail!
Very tempting, very!

Makes the heart beat a little faster... these were the P-51s stationed on Iwo Jima and the crews painted the tails first with diagonal stripes then switched to solid colors. The stories... about using the volcanic hot springs as a spa/bar; the building of the pilot's "briefing hut," i.e. bar after bartering booze for an ice maker; the cost of the "enchanting nose art" was three quarts of bourbon... but above all there is the jolt of GREEN:

Ahhhhh, the Iwo Jima Mustangs. Those are seldom seen modeled. :hmm:
For Willow Green, Testors used to make it in their Model Master II line. Unfortunately, when they gutted their line last year, I’m pretty sure that was one color that was discontinued.
For a substitute, my first recommendation would be to look at the old square bottle Testors paints, as one of their greens was real close, if not an exact match. Or look at something similar from Tamiya or whatever your preferrred paint brand is in their generic greens.

As for your Iwo Jima Mustangs in action, here is a little of their footage....

I looked it up on Testors site. They did not axe their enamel version of this color. So you have at least two options now.

Carlos! What a great video!!! My father used to have the soundtrack for the series in his library of LPs. I am going to find the score on Spotify. War music often transforms the war. What a great documentary, with interesting editorial use of footage, too. Stills I pulled:

However, I am not sure what I am looking at here in the last still:

Are these Mustangs?
