Like Stik said...total mixed bag!

I've done the B-17 that Jim posted...I wouldnt' call it a "gem"...it's nice, far better than the way old Revell B-17. The only real drawback to it is the trenched out panel lines...reminded me of some metal, die cast stuff.




The Tornado was a great kit!!!



HO-229 was pretty good...(engine was not included in the kit)



The JU-88 was also a GREAT kit! (pic was in P/B album that accidently got deleted

I have a few in the stash...TA-152H, DH.2, Swordfish and a Stearman, that are older molds, and not so great looking kits. I also have an AR-555 (Luft 46) and JU-290A-7 that look GREAT!
Got a SAAB Gripen on the way...we shall see!

The 48th scale Revell/Monogram Pro Modeler F-86D is one of the best kits they've ever released.
Back in 2001 Monogram came up with the early "round tail" Sabre Dog, whereas Revell simultaneously released the later parabrake version. Excellent overall detailing, impeccable moulding, finely recessed and crisp panel lines, great fit and very few accuracy issues, Easily on par with Hasegawa or Tamiya.



I built mine using Eduard interior PEs, a Black Box cockpit set and aftermarket decals.

Revell has some really nice and interesting reboxes up their sleeves:
1/72nd - Revell F-15E (Hasegawa rebox), much bang for the buck
1/48th - Revell Sabre Mk.5/Mk.6/F-86F-40 (Hasegawa rebox)
1/48th - Revell Mustang Mk.III (ICM rebox/Tamiya clone), nice kit, great detailing

While its been some time since a built a Revell kit, I do like them both old and new and have quite a few in the stash. And my small but growing 32nd collection has a few as well. But looking around I realised I don't actually have any that I have built, those must have been lost. So I guess I nee to get some of those blue box's out.
