Greg, this is so good to watch! However I am still thinking about the proportions on your upper cowling… then I went back into your build thread and found this!

i am not a purist but I am confused. I read what you’re doing but wonder why not start from a G-14 kit? So is this now a G14?

Although I love Eduard’s early biplane kits, I’m not a fan of their WWII Me models. They do make the G14, though. Wouldn’t it be easier to use that, or even Hasegawa’s G14 with Eduard’s resin as a platform?

That's what Carlos said a few posts back. I do admire his work to transform a 10 to a 14. Takes guts.

I missed that; okay, I’m not alone. It’s not about purity of concept for me. I’m trying to understand the thinking behind the choice. It could be as simple as this kit was the most cost effective solution. Maybe it’s the Erla Haube. Maybe it’s just what he had in the stash.

I also have to keep reminding myself it’s 1/32 detail level in 1/48 scale, which is quite a feat.

Dear all...Thank you for following this build, I’m glad you like it..

To reply your questions concerning the Bulges on the cowlings.

I colleauge asked me to built a specific plane: Blaue 7 that was in Jagdgeschwader 3 "Udet" and was a G14.
My colleague gave me a Revell G10....so I had to improvise, adapt and overcome :giggles:

One more thing...I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything...it's waaayyy to hot for the moment...but stay tuned more will come soon
