Lockheed Martin F-104G Starfighter

Post by Stuart »

I'm currently up with a blooming headache and insomnia, it's 02:40, time to start a new kit...

Sprues!

I'm currently slapping together as many parts as I can before paint - as I don't have any downstairs where I'm building - pic's to follow.

Cheers!

So it's now 03:16 and I've been working on this since 01:30 - all the bits I can glue together are now glued.

Hopefully I'll get some paint on it tomorrow.

Cheers!

Arghhh hate insomnia - pretty rare for me but it's always when I really need to rest up for the next day.

Love an F-105! Watching.
Thanks,
John

Yeah it sucks - nowhere near as bad as when I was younger - I used to survive on 1-2 hours a night and it wasn't uncommon for me to wake up Friday Morning, and go to bed Sunday night. Thankfully it''s not that often these days - the bloody headache doesn't help.

It's been years since I built an F-104, not sure why, it's a great aircraft - this'll be a German beastie with twin Sidewinders under the fuselage.

So I see that I’m not the only one here who has trouble sleeping…

You work fast with a headache Stuart!

It does suck doesn't it - mind you, at least you can get things done. I eventually fell asleep by 04:15, but was awake again at 07:00 - feeling a bit like zombie today :FM:

I'm used to it Chris - been suffering from almost daily headaches and Migraines since I was about 13. It used to knock me for six, but these days I just muscle through them.

I've hit the cockpit parts with a coat of Citadel Chaos black spray today, and the u/c bays with some Tamiya Grey Primer. Any idea on what colour the legs and bays should be? I'm thinking off-white?
