Yeah, aside from better decals in a new boxing, the older molds will be more crisp.
I would prefer to do it in the Marine Corps version but I don't know if there are decals out there for that. :hmm:
Dad always told me their Hell Diver's were a different shade of blue than the ones you always see but I never found out what color he remembered them as.

Print scale do a sheet with VMSB-244 - a bit pricey though

There is also these decals by ProModeler for their kit that includes a USMC Squadron in the Philippines.

I think I'll just do it out of the box.
Payed $60 for it already so I'm not going to put more money into decals.

The ProModeller Helldiver kit comes with decals for Navy and Marines markings. :lashed:

Yes and No, the original kit comes with markings for VB-5 and VB-85. ProModeler made a set of decals for the kit that has USMC markings. The 2011 re issue of the kit is the one that comes with markings like the ones on the Pro Modeler decal sheet, VMSB-224 and VB-84. The ProModeler decal sheet also includes VB-83 markings.
