I'd get the Hornet for the decals and use it on a different Hornet kit. After having done their F-16 Falcon "Special Colors" belly tank being too large, I'm leary of the same issues typical of Italeri.
Throw the Hornets away. Just throw them away. Don't even fondle the plastic.
