The other night, I went to scalemates to do a search on older kits of both Monogram and MPC from my youth and teen years. I remember fondly of 99% of them I've done - including 2 I already received from Brent. One California Street Vette I got, my sister did.
There are quite a few I would love to get again, including one I absolutely love - MPC Dodge Off-Road Camper with the dirt bike included. Found one for $120 awhile back at oldmodelcarkits.com
I am still looking for that one along with the '57 Chevy Funny Car called Outcast and/or Plum Crazy (same kit, different name), and MPC SSlasher and the Red Alert '72 Chevelle SS kits, the KISS van, and many others.
Believe me, my list is long of those desirable older Monogram, MPC and Revell kits of my youth/teen years.
Yes, eBay has them but I hate going in a bidding war or paying ridiculous money for on some of those older kits. Even shipping costs is crazy.
How many of you wanted to get a second go at a kit from your youth?

Ya, thank goodness for Round2! Hopefully they'll get to some of these. I've been wanting the 55 Chevy Badman for years.
Thanks,
John

I loved the Revell Selected Subjects Program (SSP) kit releases for just that reason. Another crack at kits I built as a kid.

Double ditto...
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

A lot of the car kits I have are going to be redo's from my youth
I traded with Lee and for the first Model I ever built. The MPC 77 Pacer Wagon. Not much to look at but it started me on this crazy journey. Also recently found the Moroso Mustang II.
The one I really want is the Monogram Plymouth Superbird
