Don’t forget the Pinto was not only ugly but dangerous. Rear end go boom in collisions due to gas tank location. Not sure of the Pinto wagon though. They weren’t too bad looking considering.

I was rear ended in my Pinto...and no boom for me. Mine WBA’s a pretty neat car. Fun to drive.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
