What airbrush do you use?
I am currently using a badger 350 and a 200. Both are single action so I am thinking of buying an double action airbrush. Has anyone got any advice or user experience they want to share on double action airbrushes?

Using my Harder & Steenbeck Evolution 2n1 for decades now. Very good airbrushes and a breeze to clean without the need for tools!

You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I have a Grex Tritium TG. I purchased it two years ago after the nozzle for my Badger 150 was damaged beyond repair. I absolutely love it! Some don't care for the pistol type trigger, but since I've been firing handguns since I was 12, it feels natural to me.
I do know that Grex recently released the same airbrush, but in a traditional design.

I've been sticking to the Badger 105 Patriot...also have a Badger 150 and the every lovely Iwata CS HP
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Hey, Borg! I don't know, except it may be the Badger was the first one. I think it also feels lighter in my hand. The Iwata was a "bargain" purchase at Hobby Lobby and I had to replace some parts. The Iwata has a sterling reputation and many love it. I don't hate it, but i'm not comfortable with it as yet. Both are gravity feed, dual action, so nothing really different there.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I've got the Badger Krome and I absolutely love the thing. It does everything I need it to do. The only problem is that it's kind of picky on how well your paint is thinned. Especially when doing fine detail work with low air pressure. But that is because the tip and needle I have in it are so small. I had a Paasche VL before and it worked completely fine... but I didn't know how much better I could have it! That was like driving a dump truck compared to the Krome.
Oh and from everything I've heard, if I ever do want another AB it will either be an Iwata or a Grex.

It's up to you how much money you want to spend and how many new words you want to create "correcting" something.

Thanks for all the input. I also did some research on the web and today I purchased a Harder Steinbeck Ultra (0,2 mm nozzle) at euro scale modelling. It was € 62,50 which I thought was a fair price. I immediately tried it tonight and was quite pleased with how it all worked, including the cleaning.
