1/72 Roden WW1 Type-B Pigeon Loft Bus

Prior to the demise of the Stearman build, I have been working on this one...
Tiny little kit but a real PITA to do since I hate building braille scale kits
The decals are fragile and had a few tear on me as I tried to slide them the paper to the kit. Yes, they were soaked enough to slide around.
In fact, I don't know how Duke managed to get Ol' Bill to look good.
Anyhow, it is a fine kit. Definitely a lot of fragile parts. I had a couple snap off that had to be fixed. It's a wonder I didn't put a hammer to it.
I actually had to use Gorrilla glue for better adhesion in some spots.
It is painted in AK Intetactive Real Color Field Drab since the color call out is Flat Brown. I know in my eyes flat brown is wrong for WW1. Field Drab is a better color.
Before buttoning up the pigeon loft top portion, I wanted to make it look like a proper pigeon loft floor. Brushed on white glue, sprinkled some saw dust, and released excess sawdust.
I'm quite happy with the results. Glued on the pigeons in a variety of colors (yes... the kit included pigeons) in various spots... all 17 of 20 pigeons.

I made my own custom Off White using Tamiya Flat White, Pollyscale Dirty White, and Pollyscale Israeli Light Grey.
I have been sharing my progress with my sister and she tells me this is her favorite kit I've done. I think I'm going to send it to her as a surprise. I do want to have another crack at this one again.
Now, if only Roden can produce one in either / all in 1/48, 1/35, or even 1/32 scale.
