Thats a new one

El cheapo stopgap airbrush gave up the ghost today. Tried to do a little painting, nothing coming out, pulled it apart to clean it. It was weirdly gunked up considering i had done a deep clean on it last time i used it.
During reassembly this happened.
Thats not paint in the threads, thats corrosion. It just crumbled like wet tissue paper.

Im pretty disappointed that i cant paint for a couple days while the new one is on its way, but considering i got it free with my compressor i guess i cant complain?
Both my main airbrushes are in a crate waiting to ship from New Zealand, so for now im just using cheapies to tide me over till they arrive. They were supposed to be here like 4 months ago
