6 or 7 years ago, I went to an online store called Internet Hobbies ( yeah, you know the one also ran under as Hobby Models); purchased a kit or two ($40). Waited 3 weeks, nothing. Emailed them (3 times), no response.

Got suspicious and did a little research on them. Yup... you guessed it right. Fly by night company stealing money and never sending the items you purchased.

Found out where you can file a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office. Couldn't hurt to try, right?

Years go by, didn't hear nothing more of it. I took the loss.

Today, I received a letter with a check from the Pennsylvania AG's office. Holy sh!t !!! I'll take the $20! It's better than nothing.

So basically in a nutshell, the defendents of said Internet Hobbies & Hobby Models, violated various sections of the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices & Consumer Protection Law.

The lawsuit ultimately resolved in the form of a Common Petition for Final Decree which in part permanently enjoins & prohibits the defendents from violating the Consumer Protection Law and they are to pay restitution consumers who suffered losses due to their conduct as well as civil penalties.

It also stated there may be additional monies forthcoming and will be contacted by the Attorney General's office in the future when these monies are collected.

Well, that was a nice surprise!

LOL! Its funny you mentioned that kit. I've been looking for that kit for years. However, I did get the same kit except it was called Jinx Express. I really want to the decals for Fast Buck.

How much are you willing to pay, moneybags? There are a couple under 50 on ebay. one with an opening bid of $20 (32 hours to go).

I only want the Fast Buck decals. Already have the Jinx Express.
