I've been reading about the new Dora Models release, a P-47B version in 1/48. Test shots look pretty nice too; Thunderbolt fans will enjoy this I bet.

Yup, been seeing the test shots over on Aeroscale/Kitmaker. It looks really nice!

I'm not sure on how much mini art could improve on the Tamiya kit. Maybe engine and seatbelts

Not sure it's possible; however, if they had an amazing decal sheet, with about 5 or 10 subjects not produced before, I'd bite...

When you said a dora p-47 my first thought was a captured P-47 with a Jumo 213 bolted to the front
