I came across this old photograph of my workbench last night and thought I'd share it with all of you. This was taken in my grandparents' cellar whom I was very close to.
The narrow white board on the left side of my bench is another display case my grandfather built for my models.

I had a few aircrafts hung on the ceiling too, including Rommelus - Bird of Prey from Star Trek fame. High on ceiling shelf is aircraft carrier USS Intrepid. Shuttle kit on desk is the Moonraker shuttle kit from the same movie title. I completely forgotten I had that kit.

I can make out some of the car kits I had done in the photo.

Front display case, Top row...
Unknown. Next to it is CJ-7 Jeep (Monogram?)

Next row. Unknown blue kit. Next to it is the '57 Chevy Lowrider kit

Tank is then modern Abrahms tank by Tamiya

Side display case on right. First 5 rows from top unknown due to photo quality.
Yellow car is Monogram '57 Monad
Unknown next to it
Next row down
'57 Flip Nose Corvette
Next to it, a kit called Skorpion
Next row...
Black Max Monza kit (?)
Monogram Cop Out funny car next to it

Last row - both unknown kits

I do see a Skyraider aircraft kit on top of side display case on left.
B-17 & Saber jet (F-100?) - both hanging from ceiling.

Kit boxes on floor under desk are empty. I never had a stash then.

I had a chuckle finding this and wanted to share it with you guys. It was fun seeing my old work bench.

Yeah... when I took the pic on my phone and uploaded it thru Postimage, that’s how it displayed it. I’m not sure how to rotate it.

Wouh, that is nostalgie!

I have also, somewhere, a pic or two of my bench as well from the early 80's

Regarding your picture, I rotated it and did some minor editing as well

Looking closer to the photo, under the bench I do see Vette Van kit box and the Old Pro Chevy Nova kit box. The Tamiya kit boxes ... one is definitely the Abrahms tank kit. The other Tamiya kit might be the half track kit. I'm not 100% sure.

I really wish I had pics of my old models and bench. I'd love to see how horrible my kits were back then.

I wish I did too, but I don't need them to see how horrible my models were back then. I kept almost all of them so I can see that daily!

Hope you don't mind glomming on Tom but I think this is a fun idea. These are mid/late 90s before a couple moves. Most did not survive

Not at all, John. It’s fun to see kits on display.

I remember doing a Huey Gunship kit by Revell. I know it was larger than 1/48 scale. I did the Cobra one too. I’d love to grab another vintage Huey Gunship kit again.
