66 Olds

My only completed Olds model. Unfortunately, it's in pieces now... I tried Detail Master foil on it, pure garbage, and the result was not very good. I have included photos of the real car I was duplicating. Build is about 6-8 years old.

That’s a beautiful build. I’m sorry to hear that the foil gave you trouble and the car is in pieces now.

Nice detail on the 442. Looks like a good representation of the original. Why is it in pieces? Cat?
What prompted you to build that car - was it yours?

Great looking Olds! My Dad bought a '67 Delta 88 when we returned from Australia in March 1967. 425 cubes, 370 hp! 5,000 pounds of flying steel! :lol:

Meanwhile, Rocket 88 indeed... :wink: :grin:

Thanks. It's in pieces intentionally. I hated the foil, and some other parts didn't fit well so I've been parting it out.

There is another Bare Metal Foil alternative product out there that showed some promise from a video review on YouTube I saw the other night.
