I waited weeks for this paint to show up for the Rover kit I'm working on. Being enamel, I treated it just like I would with Model Master - thinned about 50/50 with lacquer thinner. Sprayed beautifully - I'm a fan. The look just like Humbrol tins which I like for keeping the paint in good shape for long periods of time, but I make a mess of the tin getting paint out to airbrush lol. I wonder why they refer to it as Email colors...

Get yourself some of these stir stick. Use the blade end to mix the paint. Use the spoon end to transfer paint out of the tin and into your airbrush cup. It’s much neater and more precise to use than pouring the paint from the tin.

I use skinny sticks for stirring paints. Cheaper and i can find them at the dollar store.

I use pippets to draw the paints from tins/jars. I can get more for free when I find them tossed in the bins at my place of employment.

Revell paints looks promising once Model Masters are no more.

Yes, I am eagerly awaiting Revell enamels to show up here at the local shops. They can’t truly replace Model Master, as their color selection is different. But they will help fill the void.

The Tamiya stir stick cost only a few bucks. I’ve been using the same one for about 15 years now, so I think I got my money’s worth out of them. And wiping that little spoon clean is a lot easier than cleaning paint out of a pipette. I still use those for thinner.

Maybe a possibility to buy.

I can get the pippets from Amazon. You can get 100 for between $6-$15. I use them once and then throw them away.

I got over a 1000 a few years ago. Still have over 3/4 of the box! Can't find the vendor now, though.

I use Starbucks coffee stirrers to mix my paints in my airbrush cup. Recycled=free and good for the planet. They are also plastic so will not scratch the airbrush. For normal spray amounts, I transfer from bottle to cup using the stirrer and count in drops, which gives me a good reference for mix ratios.

Time to raid a Starbucks....
