Cars Guys Question

Hey all. I really want to do this Nova in kit form. Not sure what year model it is. This is the car that my friend that passed away drove (he was not killed in the car or racing). I don't normally build car kits so I have no idea where to look.

Heya Mike,
Man that is a beautiful car!! It looks like a 66 Nova or Chevy II. Here's the perfect kit for replicating that beauty:
AMT's Pro Street Nova. Even has the correct hood scoop on it.
Those are Weld Draglite wheels on it. Looks like skinnies and the deep wider wheels in the back. If you're good at Alclad then you can pick up a set of big and little Draglites at Competition Resins. The link:

If not then pick up Monograms Pro Stock Camaro with them already chromed:
If you need
anything else I'll be glad to help you out brother. That'd make a great tribute build. Lemme know when you start on it.

Oh yeah, that’ll work. You got everything you need to replicate your friend’s Nova - hood scoop, tires, rollcage, etc...

No problem Mike. Yeah that's the same kit. It's molded in yellow though and that's a little harder to work with in terms of painting. You can find the one molded in blue at HL and use a 40% coupon with it. Unless, of course, you already have the yellow one and then it's a no brainer.

No I don't have either one. I'll have to make a HL run tomorrow for sure. Thanks again!
