Interesting - a lot of detail there to be sure. I'm not massively into Luft-46 but from a strictly modelling point of view that would be an interesting kit to build.
Thanks for sharing John!

Mini art is doing it in 1/32, Amusing hobbies in 1/48. But no one in 1/72! The one true scale!

Totally separate subject (sorry John) - but I'm missing 1/72. since I decided to 'go large(er)' last year

and thusly sold of my entire 1/72 stash, I've barely built anything. What I have built has been so part heavy I've run out of steam with them before I've got started.
I keep looking at Matchbox kits on ebay.

Yes, going large scale is cool. But you double the work for seams, painting etc. I have some 1/48 kits (I also wanted to “go large like a pro modeller”) but I am always a bit daunted by the work involved.

I love the large scale aircraft kits, but man even the smallest types take up a lot of display space. I don't mind the kits, because you can really go to town on the detail. But where to put them....

For some strange reason, the Mini Art kit is in the tank scale: 1/35.
