One would think that an owner/operator of an LHS knows that service is one of his few possible Unique Sellin Points over Internet stores. And along with service comes friendlines.... I can understand why you walked out.

Careful, Jim.....You might get a reputation! The two that I "frequent" in Louisville are operated by nice folks. They just need to recognize more scale modelers exist. I guess that is understandable since RC seems to be the bread and butter of the stores.

I agree, though. I'll pay a bit more if it is reasonable, they take good care of you and appreciate your business. I had the guy at the Hobby Town order me 1 bottle of MicroSol. He is a pretty nice fellow. . . but 20 miles out of the way.

You should take some of your work to the store and pretend to be looking for display cases.

Hmmmm........I think I know of the store that you speak of. Are we talking about M&M Hobbies? Yeah I know all to well about what you're talking about and agree with you 100%. With a Hobby Town USA now open I no longer need to go that place.

Paint and such are about the same price as anywhere else. That's mainly what I go there for. Some kit prices aren't bad either. When I look at their kits, I'll look up the same kit on Squadron or Sprue Bros and compare (including shipping).

We have three that actually stock models kits and supplies. But they all cater more to the RC hobby.
