Just found out Mission Model Paint released new colors to their line in one of my favorite online store - www.michtoy.com

New colors added:

Insignia Red
Aircraft Grey Gloss
Haze Grey US Navy 5H
Insignia White
Worn Black Grey Tires / Camo - I'm definitely ordering this color. Will be interesting how the color is compared to their Tire Black.
Japanese J3 Hai-Ro Lt. Grey (Zero)
Neutral Haze Grey US Navy (WWII/Post)

Thanks so much for the information! Have you used their primer? I’m curious...

I didn't get their primer. My go-to primer is usually Rustoleum brand (wet and dry sandable) in rattle can. However, I do have Mr. Surfacer primer I have yet tried.

I brush paint and have used MM paints almost exclusively. I've used the white and the gray primers and they work very well. The primers lay down flat with no unevenness. The gloss grey mentioned is ADC grey used in the 60's on 101B, 102, and 106 interceptors. I'm using it on a 1/48 101B and it brushes beautifully. MM makes great paint.

I really need to try these.

Ordered a few colors but I forgot to order Black Grey Tires/Camo.

Ordered my Mission Model Worn Black Grey Tires / Camo paint!! Looking forward to seeing the difference between Mission Model Tire Black to Mission Model Worn Black Grey Tires / Camo.

Mission Models was selling their paints at the IPMS Nationals. Unfortunately I was so short of time that I couldn't take in everything. I missed stopping by their booth. If I recall, they even had an airbrush setup there so anyone could try their paint before buying.

I really like their stuff. (and everyone knows by now how picky I am about model paints)

My only problem is the timing of their product introduction.

They came out with their products just as I was finding the last few colors that I was looking for, in older paint lines.

IF they had come out just as I made the switch in paint types,,,,,their stuff would be my primary paints and primers today.

Even so, they are the paint line that I will "go to" when I run out of any certain colors over the years,,,,,I bought a few various Mission products to play with, so that when I "need" them, I will know how to work with them. I think I am going to buy "advance stock" of a bunch of their colors, to help Mission still be there when I really need them.

Michigan Toy are releasing more colors to their line...
