My Tamiya 66 Karmann Ghia. It was featured in the Nov/Dec 2011 issue of Karmann Komment, the magazine of The Karmann Ghia Club of Great Britian.

:shoutout:

The Karman Ghia is one of the finest re-incarnations of the Beetle. IIRC back then it also was called the "(female) secretary´s Porsche" or "Sekretärinnenporsche" in German.

Lee, your really well done build is well deserved to be published in this mag! The metallic blue colour, the chrome trim and the fine little details make this one interesting and looking simply perfect! BTW: what scale is it?

The X.O. of my first ship had one and he had it to where he supplied the state of Maine's Highway Patrol in tickets paid. To say he was a hot foot in that thing was an understatement.
