Your favorite tool ?

Hi all,

a topic that has been slightly touched in another thread but not just focusing on one single question:

What is your favorite tool ?

Is it a pincett, an airbrush, perhaps a Tamiya sprue cutter, a rivet maker, a sledgehammer or simply a toothpick?

I will start...

My favorite tool is the Trumpeter paint mixer...
Does what it tells, so good, that I could never go back to a piece of a stick to mix the paint.. Oh no!

Does the job quickly and efficiently (I am using mainly Guenze, Tamiya & Revell acrylics that needs to be blended/mixed)

It's easy to clean: one can of acetone, dip & run the mixer for a couple of seconds & dry with a piece of cloth, done!

Kari, that is a good one. I use a fermis hack and have a low-powered "dremel-like" tool that I put a piece of sprue in. Same effect.

My favorite? Probably varies as I get a little better at things. I love the flex-i-file...now that i know how to load it. DUH.

Hard to pick a favorite, every tool is pretty much priceless for the task it performs.

The biggest "game changer" for me, was steppin up from a crappy Testors A/B w/ canned air to a double action with compressor. So, I guess that would be tops for me.
Second would be the Dremel....the majority of its use is for stirring paint...but is damn handy when you need to grind something down or polish something.

my handy dandy Xacto. Cut, trim, crape, scribe, glue applicator, micro-adjuster....I use it for everything!

Hard to pin it down to one tool, but my Xacto would be tops. I use it for practically everything.

First of all: my two hands...
To be followed by Tamiya's sprue cutter and UMM' s plastic scriber.
