Thanks Kari! I admit, back then it had landing gear and propellers but they broke off and got lost during my many battles with my friend's models. I had also lost all the guns that I replaced with whittled down matchsticks painted black. Believe it or not; there is a painted pilot inside behind all that canopy fog. 
I do like your older one too! I also agree that was a stroke of genius adding the wings backward! LOL! I'm glad you still have that. I personally can't bring myself to toss mine out; every time I look at it I get so many fond memories of the 'victories' this plane achieved against my friend's model aircraft in our wargames.
Thanks ModelCrazy! I remember being very proud of that pane when I finished it. It held pride of place in my collection for the longest time and was my highest scoring plane in our wargames for quite some time.
