That’s a sweet kit Bruce, I think a better choice than the M3A3 or M5 Stuart. Just be ready for lots of little parts. Probably some PE and possibly a metal barrel too. But seriously, AFV Club kits are excellent.

Nope... I have heard no such things from those who have built the kit.

However the fact is only one of them has made it as far as your cart... Just saying.
Currently in the game of “What’s in the cart for me?” is your namesake—the AFV Club Stuart!

I also have the much more realistic to build at this point Tamiya M41 with it...

:giggles:
Now that's cool!

Looking forward to seeing the M41 being built up - in fact I'm looking forward to seeing you build a piece of armour in general Bruce.

You’re quite welcome Bruce. I need to do another Firefly one of these days. Several years ago I built the early Dragon Firefly IC Hybrid. Next time I want to do a Firefly VC.

The most commonly seen model of a VC is Sgt Gordon’s Firefly Velikiye Luke, which is the tank usually credited with knocking out Michael Wittman’s Tiger in August 1944, killing the SS tank ace.

Image

But the VC I want to Model is that of Sgt Robinson, Grenadier Guards, who was in the second tank across Nijmegen road bridge during its’ capture.

Image

I’d actually like to also do a standard Sherman V in the markings of the first Guards tank across Nijmegen bridge, that of Sgt. Pacey

Both those would be worth watching Stik - The Sherman's a great looking tank.
