The Message on the Postimage home page about it being locked is gone so apparently the crisis has been resolved, although my pictures are not back on this site.

Don´t know if "crisis resolved" is a fitting term, when the customer´s pictures have disappeared on forums... Maybe they resolved "their" problem, but not the users.
Hope they will show again soon!

I cannot access postimage.org any longer, but postimage.cc indeed, and everything is fine there, e.g I see my pictures etc.
When trying postimage.org, I receive a DNS error, indicating that Postimage.org has been removed from the Domain Name Service of internet. It's gone and it's gone for good as it seems to be..

Yes, .org is no more. You have to update any images to .cc

Now my shortcut takes me to postimages.org - note the s on images. Postimage.cc takes me to a bing search page. Still wondering what is going on. when I open my account it takes me to postimage.cc. I changed all my .org to .cc on the forum and my pictures are back

Could it be that you have some old data in your computer cache/memory or the service provides proxy etc still have information of the old postimage.org ? Really odd ...
When trying to Ping, sending a sort of touch-base signal to the adress, postimg.org just does not exist...
