Stuart those kits look really nice. I've always liked the Master
Me too - a great looking aircraft. I;ve wanted a decent one for years.

Oh nice… the Beaver floatplane. Fairey Delta I’ve never heard of. Tiger Moth is a classic. The other two are interesting aircrafts.
Thanks Tom - something different. The Fairey Delta was a 1950's research aircraft used to look into delta wings and high-speed flight. It might have been turned into an interceptor but the idea was killed by the cuts that help destroy the British Aviation industry.

Nice ! Those propellers must be mighty big in 1/48 scale !
- Kari
According to Wiki, the B-29 props are 16 feet 7 inches in diameter, so in 1/48 that works out to a bit over 4 1/2 inches in scale size.

I haven't even thought about gathering up AM bits for my B-29. I probably should think about starting to gather some stuff.
I do love float planes. I don't care what it is or who built it and used it. If it floats and flies it super cool!

The Walrus is arguably a combat type. Not a direct combat shooter type like a fighter or attack aircraft, but in the scouting or shell spotting role that float planes played when flown off of surface warships such as battleships & cruisers, they certainly had a combatant role.

Pretty cool training video on catapults with a Walrus launch. Looks like they hung a bomb on her as well.
