That's another great looking car model! I really admire the chrome work, and seeing the window trim done so nicely reminds me of why I don't build car models-I could never get that trim looking like that! Beauty!

A high school buddy's Dad bought one of these when we were freshmen, I guess. No, a real one, in black. We tooled around in that sleek "fastback" soaking up that retro-vibe, including that old, damp felt smell of the upholstery and headliner.

Thanks. With the advent of bare metal foil trim is relatively easy.

Same kit, different body. There's a convertible version too. Mine is a Fleetline, but it's the same as a Bel air, just a fastback variant.

I've been eyeing both '51 Fleetline and the Bel Air to customize both. They'd be awesome with moonie rims and a big engine under the hood.

I actually have a street machine version in the works... some day
