Well.... I wasn't going to buy anything until I'm in my new house but I clicked on Johnny's link and started poking around. I got the Hasegawa G2 Stuka and checked their price on the Tamiya P-38j - 59.99
So they are on the way

You could always give the Stuka a miss and go for some other big guns...

I've got one built spit, one built hurricane and one of each in the stash. Zero Stuka's, zero P-38s. But I do like that big gunned Hurricane

I made, or started to build, never finished though, exactly this Italeri G-2 Tank Buster.
(was back in 2012)
I remember it was really a good kit. Excellent fit and the detail level was also good.
But then again, it was 10 years ago and I might have forgot the root cause I never finished the build..
