Dion has written a very good review!
Tamiya sold out in their shop P-38 pre-production kits but unfortunately only one per person... Otherwise I would asked him to buy one for myself as well..

Yes, thanks for the review link! Looking at the sprues and the engineering of the kit, it looks like that Tamiya can use many of the major parts to create a J/L version in the future.

A great review indeed. Hopefully Tamiya takes notice on some of the flaws particularly the tires to be correct for the type needed. Then again, there are AM tires out there I’m sure.

If tire tread type is the big issue here, that is certainly a “first world problem” for us. Worst case, get some True Details or other AM P-38 tires....
