Thanks so much for your replies, Thomas and Medic. The main reason I created this post was to provide information—I do appreciate the clarification Thomas made about the personal nature of Henri’s modeling kits very much—he is a very rare and wonderful investigative and creative individual, and his work represents a defined personal approach. I was merely providing information which now that I see the post Thomas made, should be thought as following in the footsteps of large scale modelers who wish to upgrade one of the most distinctive details of any prop aircraft—as far as integrity and fidelity, Henri Dähne is top notch in both areas. If anyone has any interest in building a subject model on his list, go to him.

Not from Henri, I am afraid. He is in German WWII aircraft, with hopefully some original parts to take measures from for his work still around. Also, not too many reference subjects of those modern US aircraft around here in Germany...
