Great story Duke!
My last time (so far) was also year 2007. Me and my wife (well at time girlfriend) and her 12 year old son visited New York during the Christmas. The entire trip to NY was arranged by the "Make a Wish foundation" due to a serious sickness the son had. His wish was to see New York, but only when he was able to do that without being sick, therefore Christmas 2007 we travelled there. Still I must say, one of the best trips ever! We were taken so good care of, like VIP guests all the time. NY is for me more than just a town.
