Repops Can be a mixed bag. I have the Revell Jaguar GR.1 that they just released. Found out that it's partly an Airfix kit (which would explain the trenches for panel lines). It's not looking like that great of a kit.

Biggest plus for me? Stops some of the insanity on ebay.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

If you are talking about the 1/48 kit, that was actually a joint venture with Heller. Heller did the French version with the pointier nose and included French stores, while Airfix did the RAF type with the "chisel" nose and British ordnance. It is actually not a bad kit, and quite superior to the ESCI kit of roughly the same vintage. I am surprised nobody has really mentioned any Hasegawa kits. Mine has a warped fuselage and wing. If I can fix those I'm sure it'll be a better build.Mike

The Kitty Hawk kit isn't too great from what I hear either. The fit on it is fairly horrible according to those who have built or tired to build it.
