Postimage.org

What is going on with Postimage.org. All the photos on this website just say image and this notice is on their site

postimg.ORG domain is locked by Registry, no prior notice.
While we hope to resolve the issue, we chose postimg.CC as our new home.
Please update codes embedded in your websites.

Oh lordy... here we go again? I hope this isn't a repeat of what happened to Photobucket. I am clinging to that phrase "we hope to resolve the issue" because I have way too many photos to modify each post.

I can see images on here just fine that I have on postimage. However I have not been able to access the site for several weeks via my phone. I have been using my iPad to do all my uploading since then. I am too tech challenged to get back on by my phone, and I do not want to reset my password AGAIN...
Frankly I am quite tired of all these hacker shenanigans that seem to be the root of many problems online such as this.

Problem is that none of the Postimage photos are visible on this forum.

This is a bit different than the Photobucket fiasco. I haven't heard from Postimage but their statement seems to indicate an involuntary condition that they are looking to resolve. Worse case scenario is that all of our photos have been migrated to Postimage.cc and we'd have to modify all of our Postimage photos references by changing the "org" to "cc". Not something I want to do based on the number of posts I've made.

I'm hoping that this is a temporary condition and that our photo references will be restored. In the meantime, I'll probably switch over to Postimage.cc.

I am seeing the ones that I posted within the past 24 hours or so... the rest, nothing...

I’ll be done with posting images if this goes the same way as photobucket. I still have not salvaged half of of my completed stuff from PB. I don’t have that kind of time to keep playing such games. And I’m too cheap to pay for a hosting service.

Just figured it out. On your pic links. Where it says postimage.org change it to postimage.cc just did my mosquito and it works
